Excuse for not Blogging #1

My mother always taught me that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! I'm heeding her advice (see mom, I do remember some things you taught me) and I plan to have a lazy day. I'm going to curl up with Fire Dancer, a new book by Colleen Coble, and help the heroine catch the arsonist! It'll make for an exciting afternoon. Nothing like chasing a bad guy from fire to fire to get the adrenaline pumping! Well, that and a dashing hero, of course! LOL!

So, you all have a good weekend. I'm off to get a cup of coffee and my book! Later.

P.S. I need to give a shout out to my brother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

So glad you listen to your mom. She sounds like the mom of dreams. LOL Have fun getting lost in your book. I hope the hero wins. By the way, what happened to your chocolate so that the day is perfect. Have fun reading

Miss, NO!! Instant does NOT suffice! If you want to give it a try, come on over and I'll put a pot on! You wanna give it a fair try! LOL!

ym, she IS the mom of dreams. And, as in every good book, the hero MUST win!! I like a happily-ever-after ending! But, this book is a heroine....well, and a hero. And let me tell you, I'm only a little ways in, but yowsah! Great hero!! LOL!

That's great that the heroine already got you. But what about the chocolate?

p.s. Not hard to figure out that chocolate occupies my mind the way coffee does yours. Think there's something wrong with me? LOL

Oh, don't suggest there's anything wrong about fantasizing about chocolate! Where would most women be then???! LOL!

And Miss, invite all the people you want. Just remember to bring chocolate!!!

Hey Shauna, I was kinda' thinkin' we should only invite a select few so we won't worry about how much we are eating!!! True friends are not judgemental on the amount of chocolate or cake for that matter, that you eat!!! SO I say, I'll bring the chocolate...you brew the coffee and "ym" and I will head over someday and we will eat the amount of chocolate I would have brought for 10 people!!! Sound like a plan??? LOL!

Miss, sounds like a plan! There's only one thing missing.....that coconut cake! I think I may need to make one to go along with that chocolate you're bringing!! LOL!

So set a date, let me know and I'll put the coffee on! Decaf, for those that want (blech).

Hey! You girls are now thinking down my line. My train hadn't thought of that track but now that I'm there you know it will be hard to get me off that track. And Shauna what's wrong with decaf coffee? You know that some of us caffine effected people just have to settle for the second best. Maybe that's why the chocolate becomes so important. However the cake sounds like it may just be the icing to a great afternoon. Speaking of cake toppings, I think that you should double the topping on that coconut cake! Sounds great, don't you think?
Well, I'm looking forward to see what Mon.'s blog will bring.

Dearest "YM" and Shauna...
It is with my deepest regrets that I write to you...I am sorry to inform you both that my affair with chocolate has ended. Well slowed down anyhow! It seems that "e" has found out about my recent affair and is not satisified with the amout of time I spend with him. Therefore it is with great sorrow that I tell you this information. Please don't feel bad for me..."e" allows me to walk all over him and ignore him completely as I watch TV...Any program of my choice! "E" and I have come to an agreement...I will still meet with chocolate off and on, however I need to stay away from the really rich ones. So that is my news. Don't fret tho! I will still be bringing chocolate to meet you! I promise to leave "e" at home! LOL!
